Press Release Distribution Services

RI Marketing & Advertising's full press release writing and press release distribution service is our most effective package for conveying your announcement to the press.

  • Full press release writing and distribution service: $225
  • Separate writing and distribution services: $135

The full service includes:

  1. A professionally written press release from one of our expert copywriters who is experienced in Public Relations and journalism. The release will highlight the most newsworthy elements of your story or announcement.
  2. A targeted press list compiled from our database, and tailored to your individual announcement
  3. A publications preview list sent to you for comment
  4. Distribution of your press release, individually addressed to each publication / journalist / editor / opinion-former on your press list.
  5. Publication on the RI Marketing & Advertising website

Optional: add photographs and a logo to your press release(s) by subscribing to our enhanced online press office. Just $250, including company and product backgrounds, pictures, and personnel profiles.

Here’s how the full service works:

1. Online application & payment

Begin by filling in our order form. When we receive your order, we will review your proposed announcement free of charge for suitability and newsworthiness (see below) and if we accept it, we'll confirm the order and invoice you by email for the combined service fee of $225. You can pay immediately by credit or debit card at our secure online payment page and, as soon as payment is cleared, we'll begin work, but we cannot begin work until payment is received. Please review the RIMA Terms & Conditions of Sale. Revisions are normally a same-day service.

2. Newsworthiness

It is no help to you (or, indeed, to our reputation) if we send out press releases that do not interest the press! This is why, free of charge, our expert team will always vet the information you've provided. Most releases are newsworthy from the outset but if yours isn't, we'll let you know as quickly as possible and offer advice on what might be done. It's usually just a case of teasing out the right angle or 'hook'.

3. Creating your press release

One of our resident writers will craft a newsworthy release based on the information you've provided. We will then email you the draft release for comments and approval. Please remember that it's important to be accurate and put sufficient thought into the information you provide, as our standard service allows for one free amendment stage. And rest assured that we will not distribute the release without your say-so.

This process will be carried out within five working days of payment receipt. If your announcement is urgent, please tell us: in such cases, we can normally provide a faster turnaround to suit.

4. Creating your press list

We will create a bespoke, targeted mailing list tailored to the content and angle of your story, the target audience, the relevant industry sectors and the geographic location concerned. This list will be sent for your approval prior to distribution.

5. Distributing your announcement

  •     A personalized copy of the release will be emailed individually to each contact on your press list. It will be sent in the body of a plain text email (the method preferred by journalists) and appear to be sent from you.
  •     The release will be added to our news feed which goes directly into major online news aggregators and publishers, and is taken by mainstream news sites. We can also provide an RSS newsfeed for your own site, should you want it.
  •     The release will be added to our website and sent out in our regular email digest.
  •     If this is your first release with us, we will set up your free online press office and add your release. Any future releases will automatically be added to your press office and to your own, individual RSS news feed.
  •     As soon as your release goes live, we'll notify you by SMS text message

6. Completion

Immediately after distribution we will email you, confirming completion and providing a fact sheet about what to expect and how to deal with press inquiries.

7. Afterwards

Most journalists will get in touch with you directly. We will forward on to you any replies that are sent to us.
